Subfix

Subfix is a premium bio-filter media made from natural volcanic minerals with a highly porous structure. It enables the removal of harmful substances such as ammonia and nitrate caused by organic waste through biological filtration. It strains the water to support mechanical filtration while providing a significantly larger surface area for beneficial bacteria than ceramic or plastic media.

Instructions: 500 ml treats 200 liters (50 gallons) of freshwater or saltwater. Dosage can be adjusted based on filter volume. Safe for all aquatic life. Recommended for use inside a mesh bag within the filter or sump. Although Subfix is pre-washed and oven-dried, rinse gently before use to remove transport dust. Do not rub.
Content: Heat-treated, water-insoluble 4-8 mm natural volcanic stone.
